Genny first trained as an Aromatherapist at
the Institute of Traditional
Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. Now based at Regents College. It
was
aromatherapy training with an Oriental influence. The main focus is
on the individual, using the concept of yin and yang and the five
elements with the essential oils suited to the client. Also using
acupressure massage, an approach to therapeutic bodywork that incorporates
the hands on stimulation of the body's meridian system ~ the same
network of energy channels used in acupuncture.
Since then she has qualified in Manual lymphatic drainage massage
(Mld) Trained in the Vodder method with the South Bank University.
Most recently trained in Reflexology at Morley College with Rene Tanner,
"Here's Health" advisor to Reflexology. One of the main
benefits of reflexology is that it is so relaxing-also help's to accelerate
the body's own natural healing process's.
Genny is a registered member of the International Federation of Professional
Aromatherapist's.
